STRETCH MARKS
08 December 2014 — 10:55

Stretch marks are a type of scarring on the skin caused by a tearing of the dermal layer.  They are a result of excessive dermal stretching, such as after rapid weight loss/gain, pregnancy, or pubertal growth spurts.

What do we do to reduce and/or eliminate stretch marks?

Reaction™ radiofrequency technology can treat stretch marks on areas of the body including the abdomen, hips, thighs, calves and arms.  The radiofrequency energy causes collagen remodeling which can reduce the appearance of these scars within the dermal layer.

Reaction™ has a small hand piece used for tightening skin in small areas. Using this hand piece, we stimulate new collagen growth in the area affected by stretch marks.

In addition, we deliver a specific peptide with our infusion therapy (mesotherapy) that includes boosters for collagen. Typically, 3 to 5 treatments will be needed for optimal results.
